No Signal Club is a community built around offline events, real conversations, and being present in the real world.
We value connection over data, but we still need a few basics to keep the lights on.
Comments
If you leave a comment, we collect the information you enter in the form, plus basic technical data (like IP address and browser type) to help prevent spam.
We may send an anonymized version of your email (a hash) to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Their privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/
Once approved, your comment (and profile image, if applicable) may be visible publicly.
Media
If you upload images, please avoid including location data (EXIF GPS).
The internet is already good at finding things. No need to help it.
Cookies
Yes, we use cookies — but only the kind that keep the site working properly.
If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies. This is just for convenience so you don’t have to type them again next time. These last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and disappears when you close your browser.
When you log in, we use cookies to remember your session and display preferences. These last between two days and two weeks, depending on your settings. Logging out removes them.
If you edit or publish something, a small cookie is saved with the ID of the post you edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Sometimes we include content from other platforms (videos, images, articles, etc.).
That content behaves exactly as if you visited those websites directly.
Those sites may collect data, use cookies, and track interactions if you are logged in there.
We don’t control that — we just borrow the content.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
We do not sell your data.
We do not trade your data.
We don’t really like the idea of turning people into data in the first place.
How long we retain your data
Comments and their metadata are stored indefinitely so we can recognize follow-up comments instead of treating you like a stranger every time.
If you register on the site, your profile data is stored so you can manage it at any time. You can edit or delete it whenever you want (except your username, because systems are a bit stubborn like that).
Site admins can also access this information when needed.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your data.
You can also ask us to delete your personal data.
We’ll do it unless we’re legally required to keep it for administrative, security, or boring-but-important reasons.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We built No Signal Club to bring people closer in real life, not online.
So while we handle your data responsibly, we care much more about what happens when you close this page than what happens on it.
